Refund & Returns Policy for Beanstalk Stories

1. Overview
All of our books are lovingly crafted to your exact specifications, making each one truly one-of-a-kind. Because they are custom-made just for you, we generally cannot accept returns. However, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. Please review the sections below for exceptions, eligibility criteria, and how to request a refund or remake.

2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Orders
If your book arrives with a printing or binding defect, shipping damage, or does not reflect the personalization details you provided (for example, incorrect text or missing pages), please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will, at our discretion:

  • Reprint and resend the book at no additional charge, or
  • Issue a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping).

How to Submit a Claim

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number in the subject line.
  2. In the body, include:
    • A brief description of the issue
    • Photographs showing the defect or damage
  3. We will review and respond within 3 business days with next steps.

3. Buyer Input Errors
Because the book’s content and imagery are based entirely on the information you provide, we cannot reprint or refund orders containing typos, incorrect names, or unintended design choices once production has begun. Please double-check all text entries, spellings, and photo uploads before submitting your order.

4. Cancellations
Much of our process is automated and once an order is placed, cancelation is not possible. If you need assistance with your order please email [email protected] and we will do our best to help remediate your situation.

5. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of claim approval. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is issued. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.

6. Shipping Costs

  • We cover the cost of shipping replacement books for approved defective or incorrect orders.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where we choose to issue a full refund.
